One of the first women to pose nude in Playboy is an actress from Harry Potter (Slytherin, of course)

As you’ve probably heard by now, Playboy has brought back naked women to the magazine after a year-long experiment with tamer pics and one of the first women to be featured in the new (or is it old?) format is actress Scarlett Byrne, most famous for her role of Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter series of films:

In the films she played “Pansy Parkinson,” a friend of Harry Potter’s nemesis, Draco Malfoy (she’s the one who tried to turn Harry over to Voldemort at the end of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2”):

Of course the first Hogwarts student to get naked would by from Slytherin, right?

Byrne, who is engaged to Hugh Hefner’s son, Cooper, also wrote an essay for the issue titled “The Feminist Mystique” if you’re the type of person who reads Playboy for the articles.

According to Byrne, getting naked allowed her to “be part of a conversation about women unfolding in real time”:

The March/April issue featuring Byrne is available now:
