Earlier today, Anthony Terrell, a reporter for NBC News, tweeted out this picture of his Trump-supporting pilot on an American Airlines flight from Ohio to North Carolina. According to Terrell, the pilot blamed the flight’s delay on President Obama who was in North Carolina today campaigning for Hillary Clinton:

So he told the truth?
Technically he may be telling the truth. Obama was in NC, POTUS movements DO cause delays. @KatyTurNBC https://t.co/HD04ShgAQu

But we all see what’s coming next:
This is going to become a whole big thing, isn't it… https://t.co/1RQVvzv17g

Yep. This didn’t sit well with American Airlines who tweeted this back to Terrell:
We'd like to forward this to our leadership team for review. Please follow and DM your record locator.

WTH. Why in the world would the “leadership team” need to review this?
You're a real hero for trying to get this pilot, who got you to your destination safely, in trouble. Way to go. https://t.co/X0P9oHKMvz

And there it is. Pilot makes a political joke and may be fired for it because a reporter was offended and told on him. Goodness me. https://t.co/yL5K935VUu

Here’s hoping American Airlines does the right thing, and by that we mean absolutely nothing.
