So, this tweet from Fox News quoting Eric Bolling caught our eye:
.@ericbolling: "21 million votes have been cast on the GOP side, & 8.3 million have been cast for @realDonaldTrump." pic.twitter.com/ZEIMP78lWF
— Fox News (@FoxNews) April 6, 2016
In other words, 12.7 million Republicans voted for someone other than Donald Trump leaving him with only 39.5% of the vote? If Bolling’s point was that Trump doesn’t have anywhere close to a majority of the votes cast this year, well done!

Millions more have been cast for others, with the frontrunner suffering recent drubbings–not consolidating support. https://t.co/OZJuBnEruG

This is what is called an "Eric Bolling Majority" in political math #theFIVEhttps://t.co/hUy5p9bUVw

In case you didn't notice @ericbolling, that's less than 40%. https://t.co/erw9gtcqvi

Bolling does have a point that these numbers are even worse for Ted Cruz and John Kasich:
Do Cruz now… then Kasich…

But since we live in a representative democracy, doesn’t this justify an open convention since none of the three candidates still in the race have a neither a majority of the votes nor a majority of delegates?
So, bag the rules and disenfranchise roughly 13 million @GOP non-trump voters. This dude is brilliant! @FoxNews https://t.co/tQ2wlYlVtk
