At last night’s NBA playoff game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the visiting Chicago Bulls, the team reportedly aired a video during the game that has many on Twitter saying that it promotes domestic violence.
In the video — a parody of a scene from the movie “Dirty Dancing” — the “boyfriend” discovers that the “girlfriend” is really a Bulls fan and instead of lifting her high above his head like Patrick Swayze does in the movie, he instead slams her to the ground in disgust. Check it out:
Really @Cavs ?? RT @steventurous: Managed to grab the Cavs video before it was pulled. Here it is on YouTube: https://t.co/rW3dUn37Tr

Oh, boy. Yeah … that’s bad:
The other incredible thing about that @cavs video… how many people had to sign off on that? No one thought to say it was a HORRIBLE idea?

I think we probably need to see this video or at least an explanation from the @cavs on this, right? http://t.co/EdSJyzdHXX

You know your video's in very poor taste when Dirty Dancing is by far the best taste in it. @cavs

"It was a spoof!"
Maybe the @cavs should hire people that are funnier then. idk. The video was tone deaf and stupid.
