Dorian Johnson, who was with Michael Brown when Brown was shot by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson last summer, is now suing Ferguson and the police department claiming Wilson “targeted him without probable cause.”

Now keep in mind that Johsnon, as the closest eyewitness to the shooting, “seems to have originated the ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ narrative.” A narrative that in the words of the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart, “was built on a lie.” And now he’s the one suing? Disgusting:
If #Ferguson PD would have arrested #DorianJohnson for FALSE Testimony, he wouldn't have TIME to be suing them now! http://t.co/21HwLYMTbp

Dorian Johnson–the chief architect of the false narrative in the #mikebrown case—is suing the city of Ferguson. http://t.co/4i5YaFbnHN

Yes. Where is that perjury charge? And this:
Shouldn't #DarrenWilson be suing #DorianJohnson–and NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND?!!!http://t.co/TYqWqjjtcu#Ferguson #Chutzpah

However, there is some confusion on Twitter with some suggesting that Johnson is only suing for $25,000, but that’s not the case. KSDK reports:
Johnson is seeking damages in excess of $25,000 for each cause of action. His lawsuit includes four causes of action.
In other words, this isn’t just a nuisance lawsuit hoping for a settlement and he really does want to cash in, even though it was his misinformation that led to the widespread looting and rioting in Ferguson.
