You can’t make this up. It’s been well over 24 hours since that Jezebel story on Scott Walker and campus rape reporting got debunked and retracted, yet the Huffington Post tweeted this incredibly misleading headline out at 3:00 p.m. today:
https://twitter.com/HuffingtonPost/status/572124176867323904
This looks like the same tweet they sent out on February 27, the day of the original Jezebel story:
Scott Walker's budget deletes college rape reporting requirements http://t.co/4Fs7exXHlz
— HuffPost (@HuffPost) February 27, 2015
And on February 28 from the @HuffPostPol account:
Scott Walker's budget deletes college rape reporting requirements http://t.co/ZakGDiok7d pic.twitter.com/zFaAwGsRGR
— HuffPost Politics (@HuffPostPol) February 28, 2015
Unbelievable. How is this even a story at this point that merits more attention, other than a public shaming of Jezebel for issuing it in the first place?
@HuffingtonPost Repeating debunked stories makes HuffPo even less relevant. Yet, HuffPo continues to spout lies. Typical.

@HuffingtonPost this smear was retracted because it was false. UW requested the language be removed bc fed and state law already covered it.

@HuffingtonPost Since this lie has repeatedly debunked & stories retracted you're officially the stupidest rag out here. @drawandstrike

@HuffingtonPost nice job not including the truth in your headline. Horrible.

@robinbmurphy @HuffingtonPost wow are they really running with that debunked garbage TOO.

Your "update" is lame and retweeting that headline is despicable. You need to do a retraction. @HuffingtonPost

Yes they do.
