Hip-hop business magnate Russell Simmons, in the midst of commenting on police protests, just deleted a profanity laced tweet criticizing the New York Post and the “police union.”
Here’s a screenshot:

We’re not sure what “propaganda” he’s referring to specifically, but NYPD Police Benevolent Association President Pat Lynch has been taking heat over recent comments he made earlier today suggesting that Mayor de Blasio has “blood on his hands” over the execution-style murder of two police officers on Saturday night in Brooklyn.
The second part of Simmons’ tweet didn’t make much sense either, and we assume that is why he deleted it:
WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL POLICE STOP POLICING THEMSELVES
Earlier in the day he said this, which contradicts what’s written above:
We will not live in a police state .. there will be changes I love police but they will not police themselves.

And Simmons did tweet this out last night after learning of the death of the two officers:
Prayers to the families of the NYPD officers who were killed today in Brooklyn.

The deleted tweet has yet to be replaced as of the writing of this post.
