Yes, Democrats, We ABSOLUTELY Voted for This: Trump Hits Record High in Approval Ratings

meme

Since January 20, Democrats have been screeching non-stop about President Trump as a complete failure and 'the worst person in the world.' This is not surprising, of course. During the election campaign, they called him 'literally Hitler' ... repeatedly. Because Democrats staunchly refuse to learn any lessons from November 5, it is perfectly understandable that they would keep going down this road to irrelevance.

Some of their attacks have been pretty hilarious, however. They've complained this weekend that Trump flew Air Force One to Mar-A-Lago and will be attending the Super Bowl, calling him lazy. Never mind that he has done more in three weeks to Make America Great Again than Sleepy Joe Biden did in four years. Biden also spent more than 40 percent of his term in office on vacation -- and that was just his official vacations. That doesn't count all of the days the White House called a lid before noon or the days when his schedule was completely empty.

Even funnier is the attempt by the left to blame inflation on Trump. They have been whining that eggs are expensive even though Biden spent four years making them that way, not to mention that the Biden administration deliberately sabotaged Trump by killing tens of millions of chickens (because of 'bird flu') on its way out the door. They've even gone to supermarkets to point out the high prices, but because Democrats are so bad at this, they were pointing to prices from last summer or picking out the highest price 'cage-free' eggs when cheaper ones were listed right next to them.

LOL.

They have nothing, so they lie. But I can't stop laughing at how awful they are at it.

All of this has led to the latest refrain from the left in the wake of Trump's executive orders and Elon Musk's exposing all of the fraud and corruption in government agencies:

'No one voted for this.'

Umm ... who wants to tell them?

This weekend, the American people told them, in stark terms that yes, we DID vote for this. And we love that Trump is delivering on all of his campaign promises.

These are incredible numbers for Trump, who never made it above 50 percent approval during his first term. And the 70 percent of people saying that Trump is doing exactly what he promised to do is simply amazing.

It's even more impressive when you consider that the entire -- and I mean ENTIRE -- legacy media establishment is committed to destroying Trump's second term as much as they did the first. I don't need to recount all of the examples. If you read Twitchy, you are familiar with them. Most recently, there was The Daily Mail's ridiculously hyperbolic interview with laid-off USAID employees, characterizing the layoffs as 'a bloodbath' and 'a horror.'

OK, drama queens. I'm old enough to remember the media telling us that characterizing anything as 'a bloodbath' was inexcusable. But maybe if those staffers hadn't used USAID as a slush fund for extremist left-wing causes and funding terrorism, they wouldn't have been fired.

The wonderful thing about Trump's new approval numbers, outside of the obvious, is that they prove that the dead legacy media is nearly powerless in 2025 America. We simply don't listen to or trust them anymore. And they have no one to blame but themselves for that.

More importantly, the approval rating is a reflection of the fact that Trump and his administration speak DIRECTLY to the American people. They don't rely on media spin.

Trump has already had more press conferences and media availabilities in three weeks than Biden did for four years.

When there was a plane crash in Alaska recently, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy wasn't AWOL and 'chestfeeding' his child. He immediately addressed the accident on Twitter.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth is speaking to warfighters every day. And when DOD staffers tried to submarine him with malicious compliance about the Tuskegee Airmen, he stomped that out in an instant.

Attorney General Pam Bondi has publicly promised that she will restore integrity to the Justice Department and use her office to fight crime (what a novel concept). She didn't rely on 60 Minutes to edit an interview with her to issue that promise; she said it directly to Americans in public comments.

There are countless other examples from Trump and his team, but they all send the same signal. This time, the adults really are in charge.

And we all can see it. It's no surprise that voters are responding by giving Trump his highest approval rating ever.

As for the Democrats whining that 'no one voted for this,' Twitter explained it best in a meme:

HA. Yes, we absolutely did.

And, to be perfectly honest, I am still a little shell-shocked that it hasn't even been a full month yet. I was hoping for every bit of this from Trump, Musk, and the new Cabinet, but never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that it would all be happening so quickly.

When DOGE first exposed the corruption in USAID, it took less than a week -- less than a WEEK -- before the Trump administration was literally kicking everyone out of the office, tearing the signs down, and giving the building to Customs and Border Patrol. It wasn't Washington as usual, with 'strongly worded letters,' years-long task forces and hearings, and endless deliberations with no outcome.

That is leadership. That is delivering results. That is promises made, promises kept.

And that is exactly what America voted for.
