This weekend, Libby Emmons and Jack Posobiec of The Post Millennial reported an extremely scary story about voter intimidation in Pennsylvania that makes me wonder if Democrats are really 'the party of tolerance.'
In Lower Merion Township, just outside of Philadelphia, the report alleges that several voters have received violent and threatening letters about their support for Donald Trump.
Pennsylvania Trump supporters in the Philly suburbs are being targeted with threatening letters from the radical left that warn: “This is a reminder that your visible support comes with a price and at a cost. There will be consequences…Your vote for this guy is seen as treading… pic.twitter.com/AxAgRlvdkV

I want to caution that not all of the details of this story have been confirmed, but at least one voter has filed a police report based on the letter she received through the U.S. mail. Other Trump supporters allegedly have received the same letter with and without postmarks. It is unknown if the letters were all sent by one (extremely disturbed) person or whether this could be a larger, organized effort.
Here is more from The Post Millennial:
The Post Millennial has learned that some voters in the Philadelphia said they have received threatening letters sent through the US Postal Service using a facsimile of a Trump campaign letterhead. The printed letters begin with the salutation 'Dear Neighbor' before briefly mentioning reasons not to vote for Donald Trump and JD Vance but then dive headlong into outright threats. The writer claims, 'We know where you live, you are in the data base,' 'there is no knowing what may happen,' and 'your family may be impacted, your cat may get shot.'
One of those who said she received the letter is Janet, from Penn Valley, who preferred not to use her last name. She has Trump signs in her yard and that she had filed a police report with the Lower Merion Police. Janet said the officers were unable to pursue the matter without video, but as the letter came through the USPS, there is no video to speak of. Janet told The Post Millennial that police said that they had heard from another homeowner who had also received the same letter. A local in the area who is in contact with Trump supporters confirmed to The Post Millennial that additional households told her they had received the letter as well, both by mail and in the mailbox without postage.
Those who received the letters had displayed Trump signs in their yards, which is likely what was meant by the letter writer's mention of 'visible support.' Pennsylvania is believed to be not only a swing state in the coming presidential election, but the key state that candidates need to win in order to secure enough electoral votes.
'However,' the letter continues, 'this is a reminder that your visible support comes with a price and at a cost. There will be consequences.'
The end of the letter is perhaps the most threatening of all, it reads: 'Your vote for this guy is seen as treading on my rights. You tread on me at your peril, motherf*cker. We look forward to visiting in the future.'
Yikes. I mean ... YIKES.
There is much more to the letter, which you can read in the tweet or article above, but whoever wrote this seems extremely dangerous.
The letter does read like it is the product of one unhinged person, but we should remember that another lone unhinged person in Pennsylvania nearly took the life of Donald Trump back in July. And the media promptly memory-holed that story as quickly as they could, just as they are ignoring this one.
I tend to think they wouldn't ignore this if the same letter was written by a Trump supporter and mailed to Kamala Harris voters.
As noted above, the police have said that there is not much they can do without more information, but where is the FBI to look into these letters? Even if the threats made are not serious, this is clearly intended as voter intimidation.
I have been reliably informed by the FBI that they frown on that sort of thing. Have they sent an agent or team to inquire? It doesn't look that way (though there are indications that the RNC at least is aware of this and is looking into it).
Wheres the US Postal police? Where's the DOJ for Election Interference? Where is the FBI for these threats? Where is the Philadelphia Police Department?

Oh that's right, they only investigate white supremacist, MAGA catholics and people who are praying near abortion clinics.…
It is illegal to put anything in mailboxes that wasn't delivered by the USPS. The postal inspector needs to start an investigation, find out who is doing it and prosecute them.

Another mystery the FBI will pretend they can’t solve.

And the deafening media silence, locally and nationally, is not surprising either.
If the facts were reversed and these letters were going to Kamala supporters, MSNBC hosts would be wetting themselves and shrieking, the DOJ would get involved, etc. Its going to get uglier than this.

As if TWO assassination attempts weren't ugly enough.
But if this political violence starts spreading to individual voters, it WILL get a lot uglier and right fast.
Ultimately, I pray this is simply the work of one lone person, who is not actually violent and will not follow up on his or her threats. But we don't live in a time where we can hope for that. (And even if that's true, this is still illegal and the author needs to go to jail for a long time.)
Democrats have spent eight years demonizing Donald Trump, but when he announced that he was running for reelection in 2024, their rhetoric turned a lot darker. And that's not one lone letter writer. That's Harris, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama (among many other Democrat politicians). And it is CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, and all the major news networks (among many other media outlets).
When you spend so much time trying to imprison your political opponent and calling him 'Hitler' and a 'threat to America,' no one should be surprised when someone tries to kill him.
The same goes for Trump supporters. If he is 'Hitler,' then what are his voters except Nazi brownshirts? So, I am not surprised that someone wants to inflict violence on them as well.
For the next two and a half weeks until the election, Democrats will continue to screech about 'January 6' and 'insurrection.' We know they will because they don't have any positive messages to sell about their candidate.
All the while, they will ignore and be deliberately oblivious to the dangerous incitements to violence that come out of their mouths every day. (According to AOC, that is 'stochastic terrorism,' but she only means that when Republicans say harmless things like 'We are going to fight for our country.')
They simply don't care. But they should. Right now, this is just an illegal threatening letter. If individual Trump voters start getting targeted for violent retribution for their support, I don't think the Democrat Party or media understands the backlash they will receive.
The love being in power. The more they incite people like the author of this letter, the more Americans will do everything we can to make sure they never have power again.
