When Kamala Harris announced her running mate to be Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and NOT Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro or Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, I will admit to breathing a sigh of relief. While it's mostly true that no one really votes for the second name on the ticket, the vice presidential nominee DOES serve as a surrogate for the ticket during the campaign.
That surrogate can either be effective, as we've seen from J.D. Vance, or ineffective, which Walz has demonstrated himself to be over and over with his lies, awkwardness, horrible public presence, and all-around weird behavior.
But it wasn't until I started writing about Walz for Twitchy that I began to understand how truly horrific this man is. I learned about the legislation he signed to take kids away from their parents for 'gender-affirming care' and his equally repugnant legislation making pedophiles a protected class in his state.
And that's not even getting into his sickening stance on abortion. Despite what 'fact checkers' or ABC debate moderators might say, post-birth abortions ARE legal in Minnesota.
This week, The Daily Wire's Spencer Lundquist uncovered even more news about why Walz should terrify anyone with children.

On Twitter, Lundquist's colleague Matt Walsh laid out the details of the report about a camp in Minnesota that Walz's administration funds. Details that will -- I apologize in advance -- make you sick to your stomach.
1/ Tim Walz' government is paying $10,500 for a they/them and a he/they to take sexually confused kids as young as 11 into the woods to talk about “queer” animal sex and trans frogs. Parents aren't welcome. 🧵 pic.twitter.com/o9V1mNpWEt

Taking kids into the woods -- without their parents -- to talk about sex.
That is not a government-funded program. It is the plot of a horror movie.
Don't worry, it gets MUCH worse.
2/ The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources “No Child Left Inside” grant is funding “QUEERY,” a program by the Clean River Partners that stands for “Queer Unity, Environmental Education, and Recreation for Youth.” pic.twitter.com/GJhiEimZQM

If you can't read the graphic on the left side of that tweet, 'QUEERY' is described as providing children with a 'safe space.' A safe space to talk about sex and 'queerness' in nature.
Whenever a gender cultist uses the phrase 'safe space,' everyone should immediately run as fast as possible in the opposite direction.
But let's take a look at who is in charge of 'QUEERY.'
3/ Run by a “trans-non-binary” “they/them” named Heron, the club is “specifically designed for queer and questioning middle and high school youth” to “explore how queerness shows up in nature.” pic.twitter.com/sJwPeTFHzR

Pardon my language, but ... Holy Sh*t!
This is not just mental illness on display, it is mental illness that is targeting children. Children as young as 11 years old.
Eleven.
Oh, and 'Heron' is accompanied by some equally mentally disturbed 'counselors' at the camp as well.
4/ Heron explicitly states that straight youth are not welcome to attend, nor parents. But don’t worry, there's also a “he/they” on the team (a female taking testosterone meds who had her breasts cut off). Additionally, guest instructors, who are presumably also adult “queers.” pic.twitter.com/24McCBeqAF

I wouldn't trust any of those people to pour me a coffee, much less be around children. Without parents.
Notice that they don't invite straight youth. Why not? Because they are targeting the vulnerable children. It couldn't be clearer what their goal is or that this is the behavior of a predator.
When The Daily Wire inquired about why parents are not included, QUEERY's sponsor, Clean River Partners, dodged and said that parents could attend if they insisted on it, but they clearly want to get the children alone.
5/ The Executive Director of the overarching group — Clean River Partners — said they include children as young as 11 because they “wanted” to, and when pressed by my team, she confirmed parents are “asked not to attend.” pic.twitter.com/6L87Pzig19
— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) October 17, 2024
And their reason for including 11-year-olds is simply because they want to.
How many red flags can they be flying all at once?
Not surprisingly, the content of the camp is equally dangerous for children.
6/Taking sexually confused kids into the woods to point out multi-sex fungi is something apparently best to do without parents. Kids confused about their biology are not fungi, and they deserve adults who help them accept themselves for the boys or girls that they are. pic.twitter.com/okc993fV1Y
— Matt Walsh (@MattWalshBlog) October 17, 2024
This is depraved. Comparing children to fungi for the sole purpose of confusing them about gender and the human sex binary.
It is Queer Theory 101: Destroy anything normal in favor of a new abnormal.
7/ What else might Walz-funded “QUEERY” teach your 11-year-old? How to look at female wood frog sex-changing tadpoles “through a very human lens.” Because what applies to tadpoles is apparently relevant to whether or not we should dose human tweens with castration drugs. pic.twitter.com/SIQz39qryx

Children. Are. Not. TADPOLES.
Are you throwing up yet? Because I am.
You can read the full story from Lundquist here, but Walsh covered most of the gory details.
The article also adds the rationale that the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources employed to justify this obvious groomer camp:
The spokeswoman went on to say that the Department of Natural Resources 'funded this project because it scored highly on a rubric-based assessment that took into account program focus, design, approach, and evaluation; feasibility; and financial need and match.'
If you read that justification and couldn't make any sense of it, don't worry. You are reading it correctly. You are not SUPPOSED to understand it. It is pure gobbledygook designed to obfuscate their true objectives.
And those objectives are clear: indoctrinate and brainwash as many kids into the gender cult as possible.
Lundquist adds at the end of the article that this is not the only camp of its ilk. The federal government under Biden-Harris is planning on funding a similar groomer program in Oregon (because of course, it's Oregon) to the tune of $50,000.
The Minnesota program under Walz only has a $10,000 government grant, but that is more than enough to corrupt many children.
We all make fun of Tim Walz for his behavioral awkwardness. His quirky antics on stage, his wild gesticulations and 'jazz hands' he throws up all of the time, and his prancing around like a contestant on The Price Is Right who has just been asked to 'Come on down.'
But beneath all of that mockable behavior is something more dangerous. Walz is a gender cult acolyte. A full-throated apostle of the worst leftist religion: queer theory and gender ideology.
His legislation proves it, his behavior belies it, and the sick groomer camp that his state is funding leaves not a shadow of a doubt.
It's bad enough that someone like that rose to the level of governor in any state, even leftist Minnesota.
If he makes it to the vice presidency -- and I pray to God that does not happen -- parents everywhere truly may need to hide their children.
Because a Harris-Walz administration will be coming for them.
