As you know, Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have been on a "Fighting Oligarchy" tour. Bernie would like everybody to think this is a new battle against Donald Trump, Elon Musk and other billionaires, but the socialist Vermont senator has been doing this shtick for decades:

Another element that made a Sanders' "Fighting Oligarchy" event even richer was a chosen venue: Bernie raged against capitalism and oligarchy at... Coachella.
Thank you, Coachella.

I enjoyed introducing the great @clairo tonight.
These are tough times.
The younger generation has to help lead in the fight to combat climate change, protect women’s rights, and build an economy that works for all, not just the few. pic.twitter.com/8sGvKAuNYY
"These are tough times."
Well, apparently not for the people who could somehow afford hundreds of dollars (or more) for Coachella tickets. Oh, and keep Sanders' remark about the younger generation helping "lead in the fight to combat climate change" in mind.
Last week I wrote for our great VIPers about AOC flying to and from "Fighting Oligarchy' events in first class and had some fun with that, but Sanders has outdone his socialist congressional comrade.

Bernie's Fighting Oligarchy and climate change all at the same time from a private jet:

This guy's like a sitcom parody of an anti-capitalist socialist. Three houses and private jet flights can't be wrong!
Via the Free Beacon:
Campaign expenditures released Tuesday and reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon show Sanders's main campaign committee, Friends of Bernie Sanders, spent $221,723 chartering private jets during the first quarter of 2025, with the first payment coming just days before the launch of his tour in February.
This rank hypocrisy won't exactly make it to any of the network evening newscasts (or ANY of their newscasts for that matter).
Of course. And don’t expect much coverage of this. https://t.co/La8obK7R4M

My guess is that after all this "Fighting Oligarchy" and slamming capitalism Bernie and AOC might both end up with at least one new home each.
