Despite having been caught lying and helping spread the Left's propaganda repeatedly over these last few years, the level of arrogance in the field of legacy "journalism" remains as high as ever -- way higher than the public's trust of their profession.
The latest cause of DC media hyperventilation is the Trump press office barring Associated Press reporters from having access to the White House briefing room or seats on Air Force One.
The AP refuses to use the term "Gulf of America" at the request of the Trump team because apparently they think it would be caving into their journalistic principles. By the way, the AP doesn't have those same principles when covering certain other countries:
In 2019, the Associated Press, which will not call it the Gulf of America, began spelling Ukraine's capital as "Kyiv," instead of the well-accepted and usual spelling of "Kiev."

AP did this when asked to by the Zelensky regime. pic.twitter.com/voB5wB0ubH
Shocker.
The White House Correspondents Association joined the AP in writing strongly worded statements while wrapping themselves in a Constitution they don't seem to understand, and the New York Times has joined in:
Recommended
New from @NYTimes: "We stand by the @AP in condemning repeated acts of retribution by this administration for editorial decisions it disagrees with. Any move to limit access or impede reporters doing their jobs is at odds with the press freedoms enshrined in the Constitution."

Hold on, I'm going to go look for "all media outlets have a right enshrined herein guaranteeing them a seat in the White House briefing room."
Nope, didn't find anything.
Speaking of "reporters doing their jobs," that's the problem. Too many of them believe their "jobs" are to be stenographers for Democrats and act as mouthpieces for the Left's preferred narratives.
So are you telling me every media organization should be allowed in the White House? Why does the AP get special treatment? Times are changing the AP is nowhere near relevant as they once were.

The AP and other media outlets will be even less relevant soon because the USAID well is running dry. The media likes to point to the Constitution but, really, how would the Founders feel about the government giving millions of dollars to the people who report on what the government's doing?
We hate the regime media as much as it hates us https://t.co/PUEP1N0pmS

Yeah, it might be a tie. But the regime media will disappear long before the rest of us do.
You don't understand that the NYTimes, AP and you, have zero credibility after what you've done over the past decade.

None are the 'journalists' they claim to be and it's been proven time and again.
So quit whining about getting shunned, buy a mirror and take a long look. https://t.co/sbygIytDKb
So many of these "journalists" had their ability to be introspective surgically removed decades ago.
One more thing about the media calling this "censorship." How many of these same people applauded when social media platforms removed the New York Post for reporting a factual story about Hunter Biden? These people love censorship, but only if it goes in one direction.
