Sounds Insurrection-y! Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Suggests Way Dems Can 'Fight Back' Against Trump's Agenda

Meme

It's obvious that the Democrats are completely out of ideas when it comes to selling their agendas to the public (we saw how that worked out in the November election) so some Dems are returning to the old playbook.

During Donald Trump's first term, Rep. Maxine Waters called for a "confront them in the streets" approach when it came to members of that administration:

But then there was a change of tune once a Democrat got back into the White House. Not even a year ago, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries had this to say about threats of political violence:

Fast forward to just a couple of weeks into the Trump presidency, and another pivot has taken place.

Out: "Threatening political violence is a sign of weakness."

In:

"Fight it legislatively, we're going to fight it in the courts, and we're going to fight it in the streets."

And yet Jeffries would like everybody to believe that Trump's the potentially violent threat to the rule of law.

Yeah, that approach probably wouldn't work out well for the agitators this time around.

It's only acceptable if the Left does it, apparently.

"Fight back in the streets" is pretty ironic coming from somebody who pretends to be in the "law and order party."

The Dems have no idea what hit them in November and are completely out of ideas... even bad ones.
