In just over two weeks, Donald Trump and JD Vance will take office and suddenly "journalism" will make a comeback.
Rest assured that by January 21st some media outlets that yawned at Biden's intentionally open border will have sent some journos down there to look for anybody still getting into the U.S. illegally and then report that Trump has failed on his promise to secure the border. Basically every mess that Biden caused will be reported as Trump's fault in the lib media's attempts to salvage this administration's "legacy" as something other than the dumpster fire that it is:
Here’s a non-biased legacy assessment of @JoeBiden. COVID-19 got him in office, oldest president of all time, Afghanistan withdrawal, Ukraine, illegal immigration, inflation, industrial policy, crime, lawfare, coup, pardon. That’s it. pic.twitter.com/ZY4jzjERny

Sparing the lives of the 9/11 masterminds is also going to be a Biden "legacy."
I had to laugh and roll my eyes at how Politico's spinning the presidential transition. The headline should be something like "Trump will soon start cleaning up the mess Biden left" but instead took this approach:
Trump keeps blaming the left for America’s crises. But soon ‘he’ll have to deliver solutions.’ https://t.co/4dXxdf3SVO

"Deliver solutions"? Who ever heard of such a thing!?

The new year is off to a turbulent start — and Donald Trump is only days away from having to confront the kinds of crises he has long been railing against as a candidate and now president-elect.
If the first days of 2025 are any indication, it will be a difficult opening to his presidency. A driver plowed a truck into a crowd of revelers in New Orleans, killing more than a dozen people in what federal authorities are describing as a “premeditated” act of terrorism. Hours later, authorities were investigating the detonation of a Tesla Cybertruck in front of the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. And that all came after the government said Chinese state-sponsored hackers breached the Treasury Department in a “major” cybersecurity incident, adding fuel to the fire started by an ongoing breach of U.S. telecom systems by Chinese hackers.
At least it was nice of Politico to report just how crappy the Biden years have been, but the "if Trump can't fix everything Biden broke, he'll be a failure" approach couldn't have been more predictable.
And he will. That’s who he is. https://t.co/MGnrzuqCOw

At that point Politico will be reporting how Trump made things worse and which groups of people are "hardest hit." Wait for it.
