This Explains a LOT! Here's Why Kamala Didn't Go on Joe Rogan (According to a Harris Adviser)

After Donald Trump went on with Joe Rogan for three full hours, there was an open invitation for Kamala Harris to do the same. As you know, Harris never went on the Rogan show, but initially there were reports that her campaign was demanding editorial control and also wanted the host to go to them instead of sending Kamala to Texas.

I never thought Team Harris even seriously considered letting Kamala go on the Rogan show under any circumstances, and now that the post-mortems are being performed on her campaign it's looking like that was the case.

A Harris adviser has now been quoted as saying that the campaign's "progressive staff" would have been triggered if Kamala went on with Rogan, so the interview never happened:

They caved to the Gen-Z lefties in the campaign and now wonder why they lost? Some questions answer themselves.

The talks faltered because of concerns at how the interview would be perceived within the Democratic party, said Jennifer Palmieri, a senior adviser to Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff.

“There was a backlash with some of our progressive staff that didn’t want her to be on it, and how there would be a backlash,” Palmieri said on Wednesday.

Palmieri, who previously worked in the White House and for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, is among the first officials from the Harris campaign to go into detail over a decision that some Democrats fear may have contributed to their loss.

The Harris campaign was doomed from the start, and it reminds me of a line from the show 30 Rock: "It was a guaranteed disaster, like eating a burrito before sex."

Democrats might as well have left Biden on the top of the ticket.

The entire Harris campaign was choreographed, scripted and fake. Everybody could see through that but apparently her campaign thought it was preferable to the alternative -- letting Kamala be herself and explain her true policy positions.

And she'll probably be an adviser to the next Democrat who runs for president. Let's hope the Left continues to not learn any lessons from what happened last Tuesday.
