The government continues to purchase Covid-19 shots from Pfizer and Moderna, and their stock recently jumped after the FDA approved them for use on kids five and up:
Pfizer and Moderna shares jumped Wednesday after the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted emergency-use authorization for Omicron-adapted Covid-19 booster vaccines for children as young as five years old.
According to the FDA, the Moderna booster is authorized for administration at least two months following completion of the first shot or booster in children down to six years old. The Pfizer -BioNTech Covid-19 booster is authorized for administration at least two months following completion of primary or booster vaccination in children down to five years of age.
Meanwhile, President Biden (or whoever runs the POTUS account) continues to remind us that Big Pharma has “lost” because of his administration:
With the Inflation Reduction Act, the American people won and Big Pharma lost.
— President Biden (@POTUS) October 15, 2022
Really?
In what world does anybody believe that Big Pharma has “lost” at any point in the last couple of years?

Same here!
All while being granted immunity from lawsuits while the government mandated the use of their product for many. How will Big Pharma ever recover from that “defeat”?
This is some North Korea level propaganda. https://t.co/lJ4bpcR6jq

Even NK state media might tell the Biden social media team to take it down a notch so it’s not so obvious.

Anyway, back to the title of the law:
So when will we be seeing inflation being reduced as it's title suggests?

When does the “inflation reduction” part of the Inflation Reduction Act kick in? It’s almost as if that’s total BS. The IRA is the most dishonestly titled legislation in history (maybe even ahead of the “Affordable” Care Act).
By the way, when Biden says Big Pharma “lost” because of his administration and congressional Dems, this is what he’s referring to:
“We took on Big Pharma and we beat them, finally,” Biden said, referring to the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act’s provisions allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices, caps the cost senior citizens are charged for prescriptions and lowers insulin prescriptions to $35 for Medicare beneficiaries.
Biden promised to cap the insulin price at $35 for all Americans if Democrats keep the House and Senate. Most forecasts show Democrats with a slight advantage in the Senate and Republicans with a larger advantage in the House.
On the other side of that same sizable coin, the government made Big Pharma probably the biggest corporate “winner” in recent history. But with Biden the gaslighting never ends.
This has to be a joke. https://t.co/eQRZpvU7kq

Oh, this administration is a joke… just not the “ha ha” kind.
