President Biden on Friday said the Nord Stream 2 pipeline leaks in the Baltic Sea a “deliberate act of sabotage”:
President Joe Biden on Friday called the Nord Stream pipeline leaks a “deliberate act of sabotage” and accused Russia and President Vladimir Putin of “pumping out disinformation and lies,” though he did not directly accuse Moscow for the sabotage.
Biden said that the US is working with allies to “get to the bottom of exactly – precisely what happened” and he has already directed resources to help allies enhance protection of the pipeline.
“Let me say this, it was a deliberate act of sabotage and now the Russians are pumping out disinformation and lies,” Biden said, the first time he has described the incident as an act of sabotage.
Today Biden claimed that the US is going to send divers to find out what happened:

The blast was quite large:
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — Denmark and Sweden tell UN that Nord Stream leaks due to blast are equal to 'several hundred kilos' of explosives.

Right on cue, the media is coming along — in this case the Associated Press — to attach a narrative that the Left will appreciate. Forget that all this risks sparking something that could start a World War III, but what about climate change?
As serious as the methane escaping from ruptured pipelines on the floor of the Baltic Sea may be, there are alarming incidents of massive methane releases around the world frequently. https://t.co/iZV5FdrdNG

Seriously? “Always be closing!”
Hey guys, let's turn an international security incident into a lament over climate change. FFS. https://t.co/ijlChigvAu

Yes, let's be concerned about the climate implications of sabotaged has lines exploding. Thats certainly a more immediate concern than the possibility of global nuclear war. 🤷♂️ https://t.co/W59kafZ4Ag

The climate change cult will never stop pushing this stuff:
Scientists have been measuring the scale of the massive methane leak from damaged pipelines in the Baltic Sea, with the latest figures equating the levels of gas escaping to the annual emissions of some whole countries. It is believed to be the single biggest recorded gas leak over a short period of time.
But as serious as the methane escaping from ruptured pipelines may be, there are alarming incidents of massive methane releases around the world frequently.
Climate scientists have found that methane emissions from the oil and gas industry are far worse than what companies are reporting, despite claims by some major firms that they’ve reduced their emissions. That matters because natural gas, a fossil fuel widely used to heat homes and provide electricity, is made up of methane, a potent climate warming gas. It escapes into the atmosphere from well sites and across the natural gas distribution network, from pipelines and compressor stations, to the export terminals that liquefy gas to ship it overseas.
The attempted distractions are simply amazing.
Let’s divert the discussion from real issues: war causes more destruction than climate change.

They have to attempt to keep everybody’s eyes on the preferred narrative ball. Earlier this year The Atlantic even pointed out that even a “minor” nuclear skirmish would prove disastrous for climate change. The lefty media sure has its “priorities”!
