NBC News story about LGBTQ teachers in Fla. quitting over Parental Rights law is a bit short on actual examples

Florida’s Parental Rights in Education law has been dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by the Democrats, which of course means the media are also helping push that talking point. Now that the bill has been signed into law, stories like this one from NBC News are likely to become increasingly common:

Have the people actually read the bill, or are they making career choices based on the Left’s narrative?

One question about the above story though:

“Some LBGTQ teachers have quit the profession altogether”? It looks like NBC News really forced the issue here:

The Democrats can count on the media to run with their preferred narrative every single time.

It’s really amazing that the Dems seem to think “we’re going to throw a fit if we can’t talk to other people’s kids about sex” is a winning election-year issue.

At least the story provides the K-3 detail, which many media outlets don’t feel is important enough to mention:

The law, HB 1557, bans “instruction” about sexual orientation or gender identity “in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed it into law Monday. Parents will be able to sue school districts for alleged violations, damages or attorney’s fees when the law goes into effect July 1.
