Earlier today, White House chief of staff Ron Klain made it clear that he appreciated the Washington Post’s Dana Milbank and Margaret Sullivan pointing out that the media treats President Biden as bad as — or worse than — Trump.

It’s a patently absurd and desperate spin, but when reality won’t cooperate sometimes the only refuge is to create an alternate reality. But back in the real world it’s clear that the media, in general, has treated Biden to a coverage honeymoon:

Nobody can objectively say with a straight face that media coverage of Biden has been as bad or worse than it was for Trump.

And for any negative headlines about Biden, has Klain, Milbank and others considered that maybe he’s just done a bad job?
I find this hilarious. Why?
1. Negative headlines may just been Biden is doing a bad job… Not that the media is biased.
2. Facts matter. Who here thinks things are going as well now as they were in 2017?https://t.co/HghY76o1K3— Pradheep J. Shanker (@Neoavatara) December 4, 2021
Democrats just expecting the media to carry them on their shoulders speaks volumes.
