Earlier this morning it was reported that Gen. Colin Powell had died at the age of 84 following complications from Covid-19. Powell was fully vaccinated but was also suffering from multiple myeloma, putting him at a higher risk in spite of having been vaccinated.
CNN being CNN, they took it one step further and wondered if things would have turned out differently if Powell had gotten a booster shot:
CNN's Alisyn Camerota: "Would the booster shot have saved his [Colin Powell's] life?"
CNN Medical Analyst Leana Wen: "It might have helped…"
"…Yes the vaccine does protect you, but it protects you even better if everybody around you is vaccinated." pic.twitter.com/yD92bhv6e0

They just can’t help themselves, apparently.
This is gross

Wow! Blaming Colin Powell for his own death. It wasn't enough for General Powell to be Fully Vaccinated. He needed to be Super Duper Double Fully Vaccinated. https://t.co/I7qEqWLk4g
