Last month the Biden State Department said they’ve made it clear to the Taliban that they’re expected to have an “inclusive” government:

Around that same time, the White House along with Nancy Pelosi reminded the Taliban that “the world will be watching”:
"The world will be watching" per @PressSec, asked about #Taliban being in possession of US military equipment
"We have an enormous amount of leverage, including access to the global marketplace which is not a small piece of leverage to the Taliban"

The President is to be commended for the clarity of purpose of his statement on Afghanistan and his action. The Taliban must know the world is watching its actions. We are concerned about reports regarding the Taliban’s brutal treatment of all Afghans, especially women and girls.

It appears that the Taliban don’t care that the “world is watching” or about the State Department’s “inclusiveness” request:

BREAKING: The Taliban announce a list of deputy ministers, failing to appoint any women, doubling down on an all-male, all-Taliban government in Afghanistan. https://t.co/i5g8TjdKvJ

The Biden White House seems to be left with only one option: Strongly worded letter.
Yes, but is their government diverse and inclusive? https://t.co/dQYzwIq6Xl

The Biden State Department will no doubt be closely monitoring the Taliban’s executions for signs of inclusion.

The "new and improved" Taliban. How's that working out? Oh. Horrible? They are still horrible, horrible atrocities to the human race? I'll just be sitting over here — completely not shocked or surprised. https://t.co/91VjLXnuPY

There are Americans still stranded here and afghans allies who helped us are being murdered

That’s what the Biden administration has been saying for weeks.
