Earlier today White House press secretary Jen Psaki had the audacity to say that Republicans don’t care about tackling the issue of spiking crime in U.S. cities:
PSAKI: Republican opposition to David Chipman as ATF Director "speaks volumes to their complete refusal to tackle the spike in crime we've seen over the last 18 months." pic.twitter.com/L75DHcEc6A

Here’s another example of those Republicans doing nothing to stop crimes from taking place courtesy of NYPD’s 52nd Precinct, which is in the Bronx, one of the NYC boroughs that’s been run by Democrats for a long time:
Last night, 52 Pct arrested a well known gang member for possessing this firearm. He had been released back into the community following shooting arrest, and then again for firearm possession in 2019. The safety of the community and it's officers should not be jeopardized again. pic.twitter.com/si4I7K4zhG

Psaki said Republicans don't care about addressing the crime spike. Meanwhile, in progressive utopia… https://t.co/0ckAtgIpoh

🎶🎵 The courthouse doors spin ‘round and ‘round 🎵🎶
This is exactly what I meant in my piece for the @nypost yesterday. Refunding police can only do so much good if the rest of the system doesn’t do it’s part to hold dangerous, repeat offenders. https://t.co/tzVePQjxlS https://t.co/Cs07OeZS8S

Just ask the Washington, DC police chief how the revolving door of arrest and release is working out in that city.
