As we told you earlier, the Washington Post reported that the focus on Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse’s club membership is taking place “amid questions about whether it is all-white.”

We’re now just one step away from “Republicans pounce” stories from the MSM.
Drew Holden and others can’t help but notice what different treatment race and family stories get depending on the letter after the name of the senator in question:

@washingtonpost invested more time in getting to the bottom of whether Sen Scott’s family was sufficiently poor as newly-freed slaves than they did figuring out why Sen Whitehouse just can’t quit his all-white beach club and whether that could be an issue.

Media: Tim Scott's family history is problematic.
Media: Sheldon Whitehouse's own history is just fine.

You guys could solve Tim Scott's family tree, but magically still can't find out out if the club is all white.

And yet the media remain baffled as to why so many Americans think they have a favorite side.
Weird how that came about huh? Good work @washingtonpost. You absolute hypocrites. https://t.co/EVpf2fS3A5

"Questions about whether it is all-white"?
Does he dispute that fact? Or is that just the media covering for him?

You would think if it wasn’t true that Sen. Whitehouse would have pointed it out to the person who asked the question on video instead of just saying “they’re working on that.”
