During the impeachment debate in the House, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s “censored” mask drew mockery from media types who thought it was ironic, considering she was talking freely (and couldn’t possibly be speaking on behalf of others).
Couple that with many other censorship-related debates that have been taking place, and we get this smoking hot take from Slate denouncing half the country for their “chilling” preoccupation:
Mocking others for being concerned about their constitutional rights is becoming more mainstream. What could possibly go wrong?
