'How pathetic': NPR reports NY Times journo pressed media to go easy on 'Caliphate' retraction so as to not hurt any feelings

The New York Times recently retracted the core of their hit podcast series “Caliphate,” and the Pulitzer Prize people accepted the Times’ subsequent request to rescind the 2019 “International Reporting” accolade.

NPR is reporting that the host of the Times’ popular podcast “The Daily,” journalist Michael Barbaro, worked some reporters to get them to go easy on those responsible for the “Caliphate” scandal, apparently to help save anybody from hurt feelings:

That’s got to be a contender for the most “journalism” thing of the year!
