You might have seen the recent viral video of a restaurant owner in California who is understandably furious pointing out the double-standard that is being applied as it pertains to that state’s regional ban not only indoor dining, but now outdoor as well.
Admiral Brett Giroir, a pediatrician and member of the White House coronavirus task force, said today that there’s no science supporting bans on outdoor dining (or limited indoor dining for that matter). Not only that, but Adm. Giroir also addressed the negative health effects of shutdowns in general:
Adm. Brett Giroir told @SandraSmithFox that "there is no science" to support the decision to shut down outdoor dining in Los Angeles.

There’s no science to support the closure of outdoor dining and outdoor bars. — Assistant Secretary for Health ADM Brett P. Giroir, M.D.

Here’s the video:
It’s almost as if some progressive politicians’ aren’t actually following logic and the science (as they claim).
We have been saying that for months

Admiral Giroir from the Coronavirus Task Force just said, "There is NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that banning outdoor dining prevents the spread of the coronavirus."

In California, a group is appealing the ban on outdoor dining and a judge said the state must provide data to support the move later this week. Hopefully those contesting the edicts will include Giroir’s comments in their presentation.
