With some polls showing President Trump closing the gap with Joe Biden, the media and others are going to be ramping up their positive rhetoric about the Democrat nominee while ratcheting up the slams on Trump.
The New York Times published an op-ed that does yeoman’s work for the Biden campaign. Here’s the headline:
I guess this explains @JoeBiden's @iamcardib interview: "Meet Young Joe Biden, the ‘Wild Stallion’" – via @nytimes
Can't wait for the "Joe Thee Stallion" buttons from the Biden campaign.https://t.co/QBSzn9iqph pic.twitter.com/F60L5BOHYn

In other words, vote for what Biden was and not necessarily for what he is?

Sure is.
Beyond being badly overwritten (the “writer” is quite high on herself, you see), this is also an embarrassingly weird puff piece. Maybe we actually talk about Joe’s congressional history, not how much he should make people swoon? https://t.co/kzYG5m8tgZ

I'm trying to imagine pitching an op-ed to an editor with this exact title and a short explanation of the premise and I can't because it would be too painful https://t.co/vllLgxvxez
