Adam Schiff and the Democrats’ impeachment inquiry circus is continuing in the House Intelligence Committee, but that doesn’t mean other business isn’t being taken care of in Congress.
About a week ago, President Trump, along with Senate Republicans, were touting a judicial milestone:
To date, President @realDonaldTrump has appointed, and the Senate has confirmed, 158 federal judges to uphold the rule of law and the individual liberties enshrined in our Constitution.
Safeguarding our federal judiciary has never been more important. https://t.co/bHvbtkoJ5a

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell provided an update today, because that number is going up rapidly:
My motto is “leave no vacancy behind”.
As of this week:
✔️ 2 Supreme Court Justices
✔️ 46 Circuit Court Judges
✔️ 112 District Court JudgesFair, well-qualified men and women who understand the proper role of a judge in our constitutional order. pic.twitter.com/sPLPzmEdMJ

Wow! Three words describe that tweet best:
Leftist trigger material. https://t.co/ieEofhnExD

And there is some triggering in the replies. Let’s just say a lot of them included the words “Merrick Garland.” But elsewhere, praise for Cocaine Mitch, Nuclear Mitch and Grim Reaper Mitch:
Cocaine Mitch is the all time greatest

The legacy of @senatemajldr when it comes to courts is the greatest achievement of a single Congressional leader in American history to date. He got a huge assist from Harry Reid when Reid changed the rules, but disciplined implementation of his strategy has saved Constitution. https://t.co/Ahoez05gPL
