Jim Acosta was among those in attendance Thursday at the Trump-hosted Social Media Summit, and CNN’s chief Resistance reporter had to sit towards the back (but at least he has his WH credentials for now):

During an event in the Rose Garden, Playboy’s White House reporter Brian Karem, who is also a CNN political analyst, was caught on video basically heckling the participants, saying they were “prone to demonic possession,” when at that point Seb Gorka took exception and approached Karem.
Here’s how Jim Acosta recounted what happened, and he shared a video that leaves out key details:
WH officials invited Trump's social media allies to sit in the Rose Garden. But after the event was over, West Wing aides did nothing when those social media figures began to verbally abuse reporters who were trying to do their jobs. A good snapshot of how press is treated by WH. https://t.co/j0Ys542dok

“West Wing aides did nothing when those social media figures began to verbally abuse reporters who were trying to do their jobs”? Is that really all there was to it?
This video shows otherwise. https://t.co/k7zXK3pLYl

Nope
But a solid #FakeNews take@BrianKarem started it by saying of the invited guests
"This is a group that is eager for demonic possession"
Then @SebGorka responded to that insultI assume you'll correct the recordhttps://t.co/v5SU1agUeU

Brian Karem, a credentialed reporter who also works for CNN, actually started the confrontation, Jim. He even went as far as threatening @SebGorka to a fight outside.
The video you shared just *happens* to start after all of that, of course.
This is why we hate the media. https://t.co/uInmPZ4qfG

Acosta’s account skipped some important context, because the full video tells a different story than just a journalist “trying to do his job”:
Yikes. @Acosta tweeted out a video implying that @SebGorka verbally attacked a journalist, but left out the part showing the journalist threatening to physically attack Gorka first. pic.twitter.com/wBYnUthzfF

Well sure, there was that.
After the #SocialMediaSummit @realDonaldTrump invited the conservative influencers to the Rose Garden for his press conf
We got the nice seats & I guess "journalist" @BrianKarem was sad
He tried to pick a fight w/ @SebGorka & then thought betterMy $$$ was on Seb as I note pic.twitter.com/yXfJfOKaZT

Here’s a better angle. Sounds as if Brian Karem was only in attendance to berate Trump supporters. pic.twitter.com/gMhlcL3VDE

It was the so called "real journalists" who were disrespectful and classless and picked this fight. https://t.co/7z7N2g5jug

So yes, there’s more to the story than Acosta let on. Lots more.
My favorite part of this thread is all the Leftists who, once again, make snap judgements based on an edited clip… pushed by journalists like Acosta.
How has this worked out in the very recent past?

Can your credibility sink any lower?

Give it time.
