Rep. Liz Cheney had some harsh words yesterday about former FBI employees Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, saying that the two were attempting to organize a coup and may have been committing treason.
Washington Post “conservative” writer Jennifer Rubin tried to diminish Strzok & Page’s roles at the bureau accordingly to help protect the Dem narrative:
Shame on her. There were 2 FBI agents in private conversation. Not top level. Not decision makers. This is the intellectual corruption of GOP

Rubin continued:
In no sense were either of them “in charge of launching the investigation,” and in any case, private isnt “treason.” Cheney is not challenged on her assertions. Were Trump appointees former Rosenstein and Wray also guilty of treason?

Is that so?
Shame on you because you’re an embarrassment to journalism:
—Both Strzok and Page were Senior Executive Service (SES)
—Strzok was a Deputy Assistant Director (who wrote AND approved decision to open Crossfire CI probe)
—Page was Counsel to the Deputy/Acting Director of the FBI https://t.co/Mwteu8VSuX

So it depends on what your definition of “not top-level” and “not decision makers” is.
If they were just rank and file having a private conversation, why did Mueller remove both from his investigation?

Wow Jennifer…you have managed to be factually incorrect and intellectually dishonest simultaneously! #IronyOfPrejudice

Liberal media in full blown panic?

“Liberal media”? But isn’t Rubin listed as the WaPo’s “conservative blogger”? *Eye roll*
