As we told you Monday night, at some CNN town halls with Democrat candidates for president, Bernie Sanders issued a call to let violent felons and terrorists like the Boston Marathon bomber vote in U.S. elections:

That call from Sen. Sanders was later echoed by Kamala Harris:
Democrat Kamala Harris refuses to rule out letting convicted terrorists vote in U.S. elections while they are in prison.
Even CNN's Don Lemon seems shocked by Harris' remarks. pic.twitter.com/Abutn6vXpg

At the @CNN Town Hall, @BernieSanders said incarcerated felons, including killers like the Boston Marathon bomber, should be allowed to vote. @KamalaHarris said: “I think we should have that conversation.” @PeteButtigieg disagreed. Let's see where the other candidates stand.

That answer from Harris must not have been testing well, because on Tuesday she was spinning like the wind and reversing course:
Clean-up in the Town Hall Aisle: A day after saying she welcomed a “conversation” about inmates voting in jail, @KamalaHarris said today: “Do I think that people who commit murder, people who are terrorists should be deprived of their rights? Yeah, I do. I’m a prosecutor.”

Sen @KamalaHarris just clarified her position. “Do I think that people who commit murder, people who are terrorists, should be deprived of their rights? Yeah, I do…There has to be serious consequences for the most extreme types of crimes.” https://t.co/jU6lJ1PB7l

Try not to get run over by the Harris 2020 bus doing a quick one-eighty on Damage Control Highway!
Clarified her position? Or changed it?

Clarified =/= reversed.

This is not what "clarified" means. https://t.co/4WXvu3QaNZ

Harris is not nearly as good at media as I thought several months ago. https://t.co/kgZnALIHAW

Panderama ain't working out for her is it?
— DaveinTexas (@DaveinTexas) April 24, 2019
She's not very fast on her feet is she?
— Joyce (@jycefisher) April 24, 2019
Just like she clarified her “let’s end private healthcare” comment after her first CNN town hall.
Kamala genuinely has bad instincts. https://t.co/ceIgwFdoPR
— Matt Whitlock (@mattdizwhitlock) April 24, 2019
She’s…kind of bad at this.

Its a fine line between clatrifying and changing. https://t.co/xWC3jjSbsR

That it took Harris a day to get a simple question like this right is the problem. https://t.co/OAoR8LKVam

It was an incredibly slow flip-flop, but Harris will probably work on that speed as time goes by.
