Attorney General Bill Barr told a Senate subcommittee today that he believes the FBI may have conducted unauthorized surveillance of the Trump campaign before the 2016 election and he plans to investigate.
Former Attorney General under then-President Obama, Eric Holder, vouched for the FBI and DOJ’s actions before the election:
When there is a predicate, a legitimate basis, it’s called “investigating” not “spying”. I am confident that the people at DOJ/FBI conducted themselves in an appropriate way. No evidence to suggest otherwise. https://t.co/15QDByxKgM

The first AG found in contempt of Congress says whaaat? For some reason, that’s not going to be enough to satisfy a lot of people.
What was the predicate, Mr. Only AG Ever To Be Held In Contempt of Congress?
