Last week we told you about the San Antonio City Council voting to keep Chick-fil-A out of the city’s international airport:
‘Without a hint of irony’! San Antonio city council bans Chick-fil-A from airport in name of inclusiveness https://t.co/dwiNbw8W4Q

Inspired by that news, a New York assemblyman wanted to keep Chick-fil-A from selling chicken sandwiches at the Buffalo-Niagra International Airport. At first, his hopes were dashed, and he dispatched a strongly-worded statement:
I'm disappointed in the @NFTA decision to bring a Chick-fil-A to the @BUFAirport. pic.twitter.com/zP0oIUOz3q
— Assemblyman Sean Ryan (@SeanMRyan149) March 29, 2019
And with that, officials reversed course:
I just received a statement from @NFTAMetro on the potential Chick-fil-A location at the @BUFAirport.
I don't believe there is anything to discuss with the NFTA on the issue. We can't allow companies who support anti-LGBTQ groups to do business at state owned facilities. pic.twitter.com/1FYhXCswj3— Assemblyman Sean Ryan (@SeanMRyan149) March 29, 2019
Update: I applaud the decision that has been made to remove Chick-fil-A from plans for the Buffalo Niagara International Airport. Thank you to everyone who reached out to share their opinion. pic.twitter.com/HA5t1CjwkV

Chick-fil-A is NOT coming to the Buffalo Airport. Assemblyman Sean Ryan called for the NFTA & Delaware North (which handles concessions there) to stop the move. Ryan says a government run entity should not support a business with the same views as Chick-fil-A @SPECNewsBuffalo

The exclusion is a victory for inclusion or something. But Ryan’s tweets are getting ratioed into oblivion.
I hope they and you get sued for discrimination. You can't have it both ways and say one business is discriminating and then ask others to do the same.. sorry.

The decision was to open one. Your edict was to deny it. I hope the voters in your district take note and vote you out of office.

I'm eating Chick-fil-A right now in your name and made a donation in your name as well. Thanks for supporting Chick-fil-A! ?

Another NY politician @seanmryan149 that loves to turn down businesses from moving to NYS because democrats are the only ones that are allowed to discriminate against conservative views…. https://t.co/AnUmdOvItp

It's Democrats that preach tolerance and inclusion but it's also Democrats that are the 1st ones to attack freedom. These people don't care about American citizens rights. https://t.co/78QrZg0GkT

How very inclusive of the Assemblyman.
