President Trump’s speech at CPAC on Saturday contained phrases like “reclaiming our heritage” that CNN national security analyst, Biden Institute adviser and former Obama admin staffer Sam Vinograd considered to be Hitler-esque:

Wait, did we hear that right? Yep:
CNN’s Sam Vinograd compares President Donald Trump's CPAC speech to Adolf Hitler murdering 6 million Jews in the Holocaust
She also suggests, without evidence, that Putin wrote Trump's speech pic.twitter.com/7rn7bryQGn

Here’s the crux of what Trump said in the clip:
The men and women here today are on the front lines of protecting America’s interests, defending America’s value and reclaiming our nation’s priceless heritage.
And here’s how CNN analyst Vinograd reacted:
His statement makes me sick. On a personal level, “preserving our heritage” — “reclaiming our heritage” — that sounds a lot like a certain leader that killed members of my family and about 6 million other Jews in the 1940s.”
Vinograd’s comments brought with them much anti-Trump Resistance hyperventilating, but is “preserving our heritage” really a Hitler thing? If so, then Joe Biden is also guilty as charged, as @MattWolking observed:

Sam, a Senior Advisor at the Biden Institute, says "'preserving our heritage, reclaiming our heritage,' that sounds a lot like" Hitler.

Well that got awkward FAST.
That thing where you are QAnon-level crazy but you are still allowed to be a "national security analyst" for CNN …@sam_vinograd: Trump CPAC Speech Looked Scripted by Putin, ‘Reclaiming Our Heritage’ Talk Sounded Like Hitler https://t.co/FhNK5Brce9
— Matt Wolking (@MattWolking) March 3, 2019
In less than 90 seconds, Sam:
1) Made a Hitler comparison
2) Denied there are massive numbers of illegal immigrants crossing our borders
3) Spread a bonkers conspiracy theory that the real goal of Trump's speech to CPAC was to serve Putin's interests

In other words, “preserving our heritage” is comparable to Hitler, but only if a non-Democrat uses those words? Vinograd heard about it too:
Why would you find "preserving our heritage" disturbing? Do you despise it? https://t.co/9nnGgUpJI9

?How pathetic comparing TRUMP to HITLER!! You should be ashamed!
Trumps own daughter and some of his grandkids are Jewish! He's the best friend Israel has!
Its the Democrats who are Anti-Semites and hate Israel!
When you play the Hitler card- you've LOST!

The president’s chairman of the commission for the preservation of America’s heritage is an Orthodox Jew from New York. Keep talking about Nazis you clown. https://t.co/sUMN2GtkW8

@CNN should be ashamed to have employed this moron #SanVinograd https://t.co/wrlWJFdSeD
