Vox's Matt Yglesias thinks space race was 'useless' waste of resources based on 'hysteria' (but is open to Green New Deal)

Thanks to the Green New Deal proposal, there’s lot of talk about massive government programs again this week. One such program culminated in putting men on the moon in 1969, but Vox’s Matt Yglesias sees that more as a waste of resources than a “success story”:
