As we told you earlier, James Comey received a subpoena from House Republicans, and the former FBI Director said one of the reasons he wants to testify in public rather than private is that he fears leaks:
Happy Thanksgiving. Got a subpoena from House Republicans. I’m still happy to sit in the light and answer all questions. But I will resist a “closed door” thing because I’ve seen enough of their selective leaking and distortion. Let’s have a hearing and invite everyone to see.

That struck Byron York as a little hilarious, considering the source:
James Comey won't talk with House investigators behind closed doors because 'I've seen enough of their selective leaking and distortion.' Selective leaking? Imagine that… pic.twitter.com/UQNsquw4BK

Well look at that:
Leaks were only acceptable if Comey was the one doing it, or something.
Well if maybe if they “ask a friend to communicate the substance” instead—he would be ok with that?

It’s the Comey way!
