An ad that President Trump tweeted last week aired during Sunday Night Football, and many on the Left weren’t happy about it:
NBC slammed for running pro-Trump ad stoking fear over migrant caravan during NFL game https://t.co/xAVR2eQBXN
— Daily Mail US (@DailyMail) November 5, 2018
CNN had previously refused to run the ad, saying it was too “racist” for them to show. Judd Apatow, director of “40 Year Old Virgin” and “Knocked Up,” was among the incensed:
So @nbc and @Comcast aired that racist Trump caravan commercial during the football game. Who made that decision? How did they decide it was ok? I am disgusted that you would air that after @cnn refused to air it because it is explicitly racist. Shame on you. @NBCNews

Now there are some calling for a boycott of NBC’s advertisers, but CNN has also been spotted throwing stones inside a glass house:
Is @CNN – which employees the racist commentator @donlemon – suddenly the lead arbiter on all issues of racism? They certainly have enough material to learn from within their own walls.
— DespeRobbo (@Desperobbo) November 5, 2018
But CNN already has Don Lemon. So they have racism covered. Maybe NBC just doesn't want to be left behind.

If other media outlets follow CNN’s anti-racism standards there might be a bidding war for the services of Don Lemon.
