The media (as well as Dems like Rep. Ted Lieu) have been all over the New York Times’ “Nikki Haley’s curtains” story and using a misleading headline to slam the Trump administration. The problem is that the purchase was planned in 2016 when Obama was still president. Here are just a couple examples of how the media’s running with that misleading headline in addition to the NY Times:

Fox Business Network’s Charles Payne knows how the #FakeNews circle of life goes in the mainstream media:
Why Massive Mainstream Media Distrust?
Example #1,490Headlines: State Department Spent $52,200 on Nikki Haley apartment curtains
Media Reaction: Outrage
Fact: Curtains order under Obama administration
Media Reaction: Crickets (looking for next outrage)— Charles V Payne (@cvpayne) September 14, 2018
