On Thursday, over 300 newspapers, in a coordinated response to President Trump referring to the media as the “enemy of the people” and “fake news,” published editorials serving up simultaneous defenses of the press in the wake of criticism from the president.
All that got Buck Sexton to thinking…
Don't remember 300 newspapers sounding the alarm together when Obama's DOJ was grabbing journalist phone records and calling a Fox News reporter a "co-conspirator" in an espionage indictment
But they did say "it raised questions" and "caused concern" so yeah they were brave

Hmm, we don’t recall any collective media outrage about those things either, and the attacks on the press and others were way more than just words.
Or when Brennan hacked the computers of the members of the Sen. Intel Committee and then threatened staffers.

Rosen, Attkisson come to mind….

The list goes on, but the list of media collectively calling out those things during the Obama presidency doesn’t.
