The new texts between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page revealed in the IG report are quite telling, but former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau defended all the anti-Trump sentiment in the texts this way:
It seems like Strzok and Page were basically all of us on Twitter all the time. https://t.co/VCgwVhJh9Q

Does he realize what that says?

But obviously the Obama Bros. love it when FBI agents do sound that way. Ben Shapiro and Guy Benson added some more perspective:
EXCEPT THAT THEY WERE RUNNING INVESTIGATIONS INTO BOTH CAMPAIGNS AT THE TIME https://t.co/VsWeVTV8U3

Obama speechwriter: Reading those lead FBI investigators’ private texts reminds me of my own public tweets!
Uhhh…yeah, exactly. That’s kinda the problem. https://t.co/SlbisTsrOY

Occasionally an Obama flack can be very helpful!
'Cept "all of us on Twitter" weren't the head of FBI investigations of two politicians. https://t.co/v8klaa0reZ

Seems to me – now, hear me out on this – that two FBI officials should maybe be held to a higher standard than internet commenters? Just spitballing here https://t.co/ca9QE5dtWW

Apparently FBI employees involved in investigations sounding like they’re charter members of the anti-Trump Resistance isn’t a problem. Maybe if Strzok and Page’s texts had been extremely anti-Clinton Favreau wouldn’t have dismissed them so easily.

Not sure that observation helps the FBI's case. https://t.co/Frp0wTZxtb

Other than the fact that they were working on a couple of pretty important investigations that demanded that they stay unbiased and non political? Yeah, you nailed it.

1. That’s BS
2. The standard for FBI should probably be slightly higher than for hysterical twitter users. https://t.co/sOxpuWbRKK— Matt’s Idea Shop (@MattsIdeaShop) June 14, 2018
So your spin on this, is that Strzok and Page are basically just couple of Twitter Randos and you’re good with that?
Interesting. Stupid, but interesting…

"Those law enforcement personnel who are supposed to be impartial sound just like me, a career political hack" is not the brilliant defense you think it is.
