Before the jobs report was officially released yesterday, President Trump tweeted a teaser that many said was a preview that is unprecedented in presidential history:
Looking forward to seeing the employment numbers at 8:30 this morning.

CNN’s John King was among journos who were aghast. King issued a challenge to find any recent president who ever talked about what a jobs report would indicate before its official release. And with that, CNN had their apples and bananas handed to them again:
Today the media hyperventilated when @realDonaldTrump teased the monthly Jobs Report.
They dared us to find a president who had done this before.
We did. ⬇ pic.twitter.com/lHro5miD04— GOP (@GOP) June 1, 2018
GOP out with response to @JohnKingCNN's dare that no one could find any president commenting on jobs numbers ahead of release. President Obama, who usually had weak numbers, sometimes warned about them a day ahead, for example: https://t.co/lpJbMiCopZ

The media just CAN’T stop inadvertently exposing their own bias and confirming they spent eight years in a journalistic hibernation when Obama was in office.

This is an example of the proper way to use social media to fight poor journalism and false claims. @JohnKingCNN at #CNN needs to go on the air and let people know that he made a mistake. I think if journalists would admit errors they could regain some credibility. https://t.co/G98q9mf0tq

As usual, for the liberal media, it’s OK when Obama does it.
