Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has spent the better part of the last two days testifying before members of Congress, in part to spell out how his company plans to combat the so-called “fake news” on the site, which will include fact checkers. Investigative journalist Sharyl Attkisson offered up this warning:
Beware those who appoint themselves (or others they select) as news fact checkers or arbiters of "Fake News."
