As part of a series of tweets taking issue with an “anti-choice” article that was published in the New York Times, the abortion cheerleaders at NARAL had this to say about “conservative men”:
Why is it that conservative men continuously force themselves into conversations about women’s bodies, lives, decisions and families? And once they do, why do they assume they have the ability to speak on behalf of women?

Anybody want to help them with that?

In other words…
So if men agree with you, they're welcome to share their views, but otherwise they need to be silenced. Got it.

That pretty much sounds like what NARAL’s saying:
Well, some of those aborted are male, so who says you get to decide for those babies? More than that, why do you believe you can speak for all women? https://t.co/KBoPOniZ2s

So did the seven men who voted to make abortion legal in Roe v. Wade not have the ability to speak on behalf of women? At least be consistent.

I dunno, maybe because 1)In the case of abortion, it also involves another life, which they may have helped create 2)Gender is irrelevant when it comes to objective truth 3)Men have wives, daughters, sisters and mothers and want what's best for them. https://t.co/7F3rsYFUPT

Maybe it’s best to answer a question with a question:
Why do some women think they speak for all women?

Care to answer that one, NARAL?
