During Al Franken’s address on the Senate floor today, the current Minnesota senator said he’d be resigning within a matter of weeks. Franken also took the opportunity to slime his accusers and take a jab at President Trump.

“Resignation speech” isn’t the right description, according to Tammy Bruce:
That wasn’t a resignation speech, it was a sucker punch. Franken *hasn’t resigned.* https://t.co/ySIis1gEC9

Sucker punch? Ouch! You’d think if Franken had a real intention of resigning he’d be packed and out of there now, and not in “weeks.”
Right. He'll have a change of heart because he owes it (he'll claim) to his constituents. That was a sleazy grab at having it both way.
