A conversation about gun control between Larry the Cable Guy and actor Gerald Webb started this way after Webb tried to slam the comedian’s relationship with the NRA:
1…While the heartless morons, politicians and The usual punk celebs turn twitter into a political hate fest, thanks to the rest of you
— Larry The Cable Guy (@GitRDoneLarry) October 3, 2017
Because name calling & taking money to headline @NRA events like you is healing our country?! Heartless is ignoring the #NRA’s blood legacy!

since 4 out of 5 are committed with guns, maybe, just maybe guns are PART of the problem?

At that point, Larry rejoined the conversation to point out some hypocrisy we’ve come to expect from Hollywood:
I may be mistaken but didn't you glorify the use of guns in sharknando?
— Larry The Cable Guy (@GitRDoneLarry) October 4, 2017
No one mistakes Sharknados for reality.

Oh yeah?
tell my relatives.

Ha! That joke does bring up a good point though about how Hollywood will sometimes try to make themselves immune to charges of gun hypocrisy by claiming everybody knows it isn’t “real life.”
