Senate Republicans have voted to go “nuclear,” which clears a path to confirming Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court with a simple majority vote, and the abortion superfans at NARAL and Planned Parenthood are beside themselves:
History will not look kindly on these #GOP Senators, whose thirst for power led them to destroy 200 yrs of Senate tradition. #NuclearOption pic.twitter.com/b3moXVTeuv

It takes just two words to tell NARAL who to thank: “Harry” and “Reid.”
As for Planned Parenthood, they decided irony was the way to go:
If Senate #GOP needs to change the rules to confirm Neil Gorsuch, he shouldn't sit on the Supreme Court. #WeObject https://t.co/9Y3KKnLqcU

Your senators will vote to change the rules to confirm Neil Gorsuch soon—make sure they hear from you now: https://t.co/A1OCIkf8ix #WeObject pic.twitter.com/7UOfOKpckf

Shameful. We deserve a Supreme Court justice who will fight for all of us. #WeObject https://t.co/l9mam3ekcg

Fight for “all” of us? Careful what you ask for:

As for the “rule change” talking point Dems are using:
#NuclearOption is NOT a rules change. It is a change in Senate precedent. Rules changes need a procedural vote of 67 yeas
