Green Party candidate Jill Stein continues to raise money, with at least some of it going toward paying for recounts in certain states. One state Stein’s seeking a recount is in Michigan, but the state’s Attorney General Bill Schuette thinks it’s ridiculous:
Today I am filing suit to stop @DrJillStein's frivolous, expensive recount request.

Mich voters rejected @DrJillStein's candidacy and her refusal to accept verified results poses an expensive &a risky threat to MI taxpayers.

It is inexcusable for Stein to put MI votes at risk of paying millions and potentially losing their voice in the Elec College.

I have filed an emergency motion with the Mich Supreme Court to bypass the Court of Appeals to ensure a timely process.

We’ll wait and see how that all plays out. The Hillary Clinton campaign had called for “all hands on deck” for the Michigan recount, but only to make sure all the other candidates get a fair shake (*eyeroll*).
