In a phone interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper Monday night, Hillary Clinton offered the following reason for not making it known publicly that she’d been diagnosed with pneumonia after having blamed allergies for recent coughing fits (not to mention later being seen collapsing while getting into a campaign vehicle):
Clinton tells CNN she didn't reveal pneumonia diagnosis immediately because she didn't "think it was going to be that big a deal."

Team Hillary now blames pneumonia for the recent problems, but Bill Clinton told Charlie Rose that similar episodes have occurred on multiple occasions “over the last many, many years.”
