As horrible as the terrorist attack at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando was, the aftermath has helped highlight some of the bravery of first responders and the appreciation of the victims they assisted.
From WCVB:
Wounded multiple times, a former resident of Massachusetts says he laid motionless on the floor of the Pulse nightclub in Orlando until an officer helped get him out. On Thursday, Angel Colon was reunited with that officer.
Colon, who previously lived in the Boston area, shared his story of survival earlier this week. He spoke at that time about how grateful he was to the officer who dragged him out.
“I wish I could remember his face or his name because, to this day, I am grateful for him,” Colon said on Tuesday.
Two days later, the Orlando Regional Medical Center brought an officer to his room.
