Donald Trump had previously made it known that he did not plan to take part in a scheduled March 21 GOP debate on Fox News in order to give a speech at AIPAC in Washington, D.C. After it became clear Trump would not be there, John Kasich reportedly declined to participate:

If Trump and Kasich will not be in Salt Lake City next week, Ted Cruz got some advice:

Cruz should set up an event in Salt Lake City and cheerfully, graciously, loudly invite Kasich and Trump to attend and debate him.
